Chronicle of an Old Man
I’m currently working with director Meelad Moaphi on a documentary about an 86-year old opera singer. It will be shot on HDV but will be in black and white. It will be a short chronicle of the man’s life and what he’s gone through up until this point and his wonderful attitude given everything he has gone through. It will be called “Chronicle of an Old Man” and I’m looking forward to shooting this piece. Meelad has a great vision for this film and hopefully I’ll be able to take it there for him cinematically. It’s good to be back in DP mode after camera assisting all summer. I will also start gaffing on several other films this year to broaden my film horizons. Man, that sounded stupid. =P

The Finish Line
Last Wednesday was the screening of the film Gint at York University. Everything went smoothly and I would like to send a big thank you to all those who showed up. We telecined our film after the screening and it should be up on the website shortly.
